After more than a decade in London, Madrid and Marseille. I live and work on the Atlantic coast.

The series ''Les Radicales'' is a series of acrylic paintings.

Portraits of women, supposedly radical, showing strange and imperfect faces, not necessarily smiling.

In contrast to portraits of women objectified for the sole pleasure of the viewer. Here they are subjects. We see them doubting, questioning, exasperated, annoyed, surprised, defiant, or even looking down on us. Each one has her own name, proof of her own existence.

They are labelled "radical" because they escape the role of the object assigned to women. Radical meaning: at the root, not at the extreme. They are just fundamentally alive. "
